Blues & Boogie gigs in the Cellar Bar at Farnham Maltings.
The Maltings is a historic building with a great atmosphere.
There's plenty of parking as well as a train station close
by, which helps if you like to have a drink! The Maltings
is easy to find - just click on the venue name in the column
to the right to view a map.
Doors open 8.15
pm with blues sounds from DJ Chris and the band starts at
9.00 pm unless otherwise stated. Ticket prices range
from £8-£12 and there are price concessions for
members, students & UB40s. For details of membership

DANI WILDE BAND - £8 (Conc. £7)
Dani Wilde sounds like she was born and bred in '50's Chicago. In fact she’s a tiny white girl from Wiltshire. She plays the guitar with all the soul of John Lee Hooker and belts out a power house blues vocal that is both raw and sweet, and with a passion not often found. Dani has just been signed to Ruf Records - catch her while you can!

Slim Lightfoot & The Backbones is a kick-ass band with Slim on lead guitar, vocals and harmonica plus double bass from Mark ‘The Knuckle ‘ Burns, and Chicken King Schulz from The Swamps on drums to mould a boot-kicking power trio. Superb musicianship and great entertainment!
Note the Maltings car park is undergoing repairs. If you have difficulty parking, you can use the Wagon Yard Car Park, or the Central car park only 2 minutes away...

BOB HALL’s ALL STARS - £10 (Conc. £9)
Acknowledged as Britain’s finest blues and boogie pianist, Bob Hall’s distinctive and original piano style has influenced generations of piano players. Bob first came to fame in the rhythm ‘n’ blues explosion of the sixties, accompanying such legends as John Lee Hooker, Howlin’ Wolf and Little Walter. This new band also features the formidable talents of Top Topham, (ex Yardbirds), on guitar, plus Hilary Blythe on bass and Ed Spevock (Chicken Shack, Van Morrison) on drums. Together they bring back the excitement of British Blues at its very best!

Blues-rock band Bad Influence are led by Val Cowell on vocals (often described as ‘Bonnie Raitt gone raunchy’) with superb guitar from Richard Hayes, plus ace bass player Pete Stroud and Harry James on drums. The live show is packed full of original songs and killer cover versions, with songs from artists as diverse as Tom Petty, Dixie Chicks and Rory Gallagher. A great band!
