Laurence Jones + Sam Paine Trio this Thursday 11th September

LAURENCE JONES GMWe have two great bands this Thursday 11th September in the Cellar Bar at Farnham Maltings – Laurence Jones Band and Sam Paine Trio.  Laurence Jones is without doubt a rising star of the blues scene – a guitar wizard, with a great voice and on-stage charisma.  At just 22 years old Laurence is playing with a maturity and skill beyond his years and making quite a name for himself. He now has a superb band including fabulous bass player Roger Innes. Laurence has a strong and growing fan base and is attracted much deserved critical acclaim. Laurence supported Walter Trout on his 2013 tour and says “Laurence is a cross between Eric Clapton & Buddy Guy he is a genius”     Powerhouse blues-rock band Sam Paine Trio will be opening the night at 8.30 pm.  The Sam Paine Trio is renowned for their unique style, fusing influences of Texas and Chicago Blues with the very best of British Blues/Rock. Sam’s blistering guitar playing and soulful vocals are backed up by the solid bass drive of Mark Barlow and the silky grooves of John Hillier on drums.
