how it all began
Music lover and founder Monica Madgwick started ‘Boogaloo Promotions’ in the ’90’s to share her passion for quality Blues, Rock ‘n’ Roll and Jump Jive music with like-minded people in friendly, intimate venues.
Our enthusiastic team now run regular Blues and Boogie gigs at the Farnham Maltings, as well as Blues, Rock ‘n’ Roll and Jump Jive weekenders that take place across the UK.
Boogaloo also run a booking agency to provide top quality bands or artists to individuals and organisations.
Our mission is to grow our community of Blues & Boogie, Rock ‘n’ Roll and Jump & Jive enthusiasts, so you can enjoy the music you love, and connect with the people who share your interests.

Our love and care for the music scene means countless hours go into organising our events and selecting and supporting musicians local to the area and across the world. But, it’s the smiling faces in the crowd that really keep us going. Life Time Achievement Award
In 2012 Monica Madgwick, the founder of Boogaloo Promotions, was awarded the Life Time Achievement Award by the writers for Blues Matters alongside John Mayall, Ronnie Wood and Chris Farlowe. She was also a finalist for the Lifetime Contribution to the Blues in the UK in the 2018 UK Blues Awards. Blues matters to us!
