Special Three Band Night Thurs 26th Feb

Bob GMDekadance Radio and Boogaloo present an extra-special three-band night at Farnham Maltings on Thursday 26th February.  Dekadance Radio DJ ‘Blues Bob’ will host this evening and also record the session for a live Podcast.  The three bands are:

Ben Waters at Farnham Maltings Thurs 8th Jan 2015

benBEN WATERS is one of the leading boogie piano players in the world as well as being a great entertainer.  Ben started playing in public at the tender age of 16 and first played for Boogaloo at an early Blues Festival at the age of 17. Unbelievably 2015 is Ben’s 25th year in the business, and he’s celebrating this milestone with a short tour of his favourite venues.  Ben will play at The Maltings along with assorted musical friends. Larry MillerWe have a superb line-up in December in the run-up to Christmas.
Ben Waters plays solo at South Hill Park, Bracknell on Wednesday 3rd December, and at Farnham Maltings we have the Ben Poole on Thursday 4th December, Aynsley Lister Band on Thursday 11th December, Larry Miller on Thursday 18th December – and last but not least, The Jive Aces play in the Great Hall on Sunday 21st December.

Aynsley Lister at South Hill Park Wed 5th Nov

Aynsley Lister © Marc Gilgen - HDBoogaloo favourite Aynsley Lister is appearing in the Cellar Bar at South Hill Park Arts Centre in Bracknell next Wednesday 5th November.    Aynsley will be playing solo in the first half of the show.  This is a chance to appreciate Aynsley’s superb vocals, excellent guitar playing and rapport with the audience.
In the second half of the show he will be joined by talented keyboard player André Bassing on piano.  Aynsley is always popular whether playing solo, duo or with his band, so ticket reservations are strongly recommended for this show!

Laurence Jones + Sam Paine Trio this Thursday 11th September

LAURENCE JONES GMWe have two great bands this Thursday 11th September in the Cellar Bar at Farnham Maltings – Laurence Jones Band and Sam Paine Trio.  Laurence Jones is without doubt a rising star of the blues scene – a guitar wizard, with a great voice and on-stage charisma.  At just 22 years old Laurence is playing with a maturity and skill beyond his years and making quite a name for himself. He now has a superb band including fabulous bass player Roger Innes. Laurence has a strong and growing fan base and is attracted much deserved critical acclaim. Laurence supported Walter Trout on his 2013 tour and says “Laurence is a cross between Eric Clapton & Buddy Guy he is a genius”     Powerhouse blues-rock band Sam Paine Trio will be opening the night at 8.30 pm.  The Sam Paine Trio is renowned for their unique style, fusing influences of Texas and Chicago Blues with the very best of British Blues/Rock. Sam’s blistering guitar playing and soulful vocals are backed up by the solid bass drive of Mark Barlow and the silky grooves of John Hillier on drums.
