Leonardo Giuliani Band
Superb guitarist and singer-songwriter Leonardo Giuliani plays classic and original blues, with influences of rock, country and folk, giving the band a contemporary and original sound. In 2019 he was honoured to sit in with Buddy Guy at his Legends Club in Chicago, one of his Blues influences and a guitar icon. Leonardo is currently recording at Abbey Road. The band was a great success at last year’s blues weekend at The Toorak.

Internationally renowned, legendary drummer, Sam Kelly has been a professional musician for more than 40 years. He has played for many notable musicians, including Dr John, Chaka Khan, Robert Plant, Billy Ocean, Gary Moore, and more. Sam Kelly’s “Station House” band has been featuring on the U.K./Worldwide music scene for many years. Originating from London’s “Station Tavern” in the early nineties, Station House has seen a wealth of quality musicians come and go over the years, all with one constant goal in mind – to mix instinctive funk/soul rhythms with the diversity of the blues. Today’s four-piece line-up features Sam on drums, Tony Qunta on guitar and vocals, Rowena Poole on lead vocals and Richard Sadler on bass.

Stompin’ Dave and Earl began performing together in 2012. Since then they have given barnstorming performances together at blues and rock n roll festivals, art centres, and music clubs nationwide and abroad.
Described as “one of the world’s greatest performers” by Maverick Magazine, Dorset-based Stompin’ Dave has in excess of twenty-five years of performing experience. Dave has worked exclusively as a musician performing across the UK and beyond including major festivals such as Glastonbury, Bestival, and Camp Bestival. Dave is a former member of the former UK blues band of the year The Producers. Dave was nominated for a British Blues Award in the acoustic act category 2014.

Surrey-based Earl Jackson is a well-known figure on the British blues and rock ‘n’ roll circuits. He has appeared on BBC radio and TV, including The Jonathan Ross Show.
Born of Jamaican parents in Lambeth in 1964. Earl was heavily influenced by gospel music. Much of his charisma and on-stage confidence comes from performing before ten thousand people or more at various gospel event in his childhood. “Entertainment with a capital ‘e'” The Mad Rat Magazine. Earl was awarded Best Blues Singer 2017 by The Jools Holland Boisdale Music Awards.

Ruthless Blues is a British Blues Rock band originally formed in 1979. Legendary blues
singer and harp player Stevie Smith joined the band in 1985 and is still going strong
today. There have been many line-up changes since then but what has remained constant is

Papa George Band
Papa George started his professional career as a guitarist/vocalist playing in clubs and bars in London. During the ‘70s, he formed the Papa George Band. Since then he has toured the UK and many countries in Europe and the USA. George was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame (An American Heritage, International Organization) as a “Master Blues Artist” in 2013 and awarded as a ‘British Blues Great’ in the Blues Awards 2016.
Muddy Waters guitarist, Bob Margolin, described George as being “A powerful Deep Blues player…a spectacular blues artist. He’s got power and nuance as a master entertainer” George will be joined on stage by superb bass player Pete Stroud and drummer Peter J Stroud. A fantastic line-up!

Kyla Brox Band
We’re excited to have this brilliant band at Crookham. Winner of the European Blues Challenge 2019 and the UK Blues Challenge 2018, award-winning singer-songwriter Kyla Brox has
been described as “the finest female blues singer of her generation”. Kyla has been a professional musician since the age of twelve – first in her father, Victor Brox‘s band, then striking out on her own. The variety and depth of her vocal performances have grown year on year, with her live performance covering soul, blues, urban R&B, and blues-rock. Kyla is a singer-songwriter of the highest class. Harry & The Hounds is a young band that plays a mix of up-tempo blues and R&B. Fronted by ace singer and guitarist Harry Caiger. This is a ‘little band with a big sound’ (their words)! The band were a HUGE success at Norton Grange blues weekend.

Burning Rope
Burning Rope is a new band formed with members of Catfish, following the tragic loss of their frontman guitarist, and singer Matt Long to cancer in October 2024. The remaining members of the band wanted to continue to play and write together, so have come together as Burning Rope, joined by sensational guitarist Alex Voysey and drummer Mitch Weaving.

Richard Clarke & His Band
Richard Clarke was one of the founding members of the Connolly Hayes Band and toured extensively with them before leaving in October 2024 to pursue his own career. A great guitarist, singer, and songwriter, Richard is known for his intricate guitar work and stirring vocals.

Jon Amor Trio
Superb singer, songwriter and guitarist Jon Amor, ex The Hoax, plays a mix of blues and blues rock, with his excellent band, comprising Jerry Soffe (bass – Larry Garner, Malone/Sibun Band, John Etheridge) and Tom Gilkes (drums – Eddie Martin, Elles Bailey, Willie & The Bandits). A super cool band!

Tom Davies & The Bluebirds
Superb guitarist and singer-songwriter Tom Davies is the band leader of Tom Davies & The Bluebirds. Since his first performance for Boogaloo in 2024, Tom’s prowess on guitar has skyrocketed to make him one of the very best on the circuit, and his feel for the blues is way beyond his years. The band performs blues & blues rock with a blend of originals and covers.

Harry & The Hounds
Harry & The Hounds is a young band that plays a mix of up-tempo blues and R&B. Fronted by ace singer and guitarist Harry Caiger. This is a ‘little band with a big sound’ (their words)! The band were a HUGE success at Norton Grange blues weekend.

Burning Rope
Burning Rope is a new band formed with members of Catfish, following the tragic loss of their frontman guitarist, and singer Matt Long to cancer in October 2024. The remaining members of the band wanted to continue to play and write together, so have come together as Burning Rope, joined by sensational guitarist Alex Voysey and drummer Mitch Weaving.

Richard Clarke & His Band
Richard Clarke was one of the founding members of the Connolly Hayes Band and toured extensively with them before leaving in October 2024 to pursue his own career. A great guitarist, singer, and songwriter, Richard is known for his intricate guitar work and stirring vocals.
Expect a night of melodic blues , R&B and soul, delivered with infectious grooves and great musicianship.

Jon Amor Trio
Superb singer, songwriter and guitarist Jon Amor, ex The Hoax, plays a mix of blues and blues rock, with his excellent band, comprising Jerry Soffe (bass – Larry Garner, Malone/Sibun Band, John Etheridge) and Tom Gilkes (drums – Eddie Martin, Elles Bailey, Willie & The Bandits). A super cool band!

Tom Davies & The Bluebirds
Superb guitarist and singer-songwriter Tom Davies is the band leader of Tom Davies & The Bluebirds. Since his first performance for Boogaloo in 2024, Tom’s prowess on guitar has skyrocketed to make him one of the very best on the circuit, and his feel for the blues is way beyond his years. The band performs blues & blues rock with a blend of originals and covers.

Ben Poole
Ben Poole is an award-winning blues, rock and soul guitarist, singer and songwriter. Nominated as one of the “Best Blues Guitarists in the world”
alongside names such as Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, Joe Bonamassa and many more by Guitar World Magazine.
He will be at Crookham with his superb all-rocking band.

Sean Webster Band
Sean Webster is an inspiring guitarist and vocalist with a great reputation on the European blues and rock scene. Sean’s blues-inflected guitar licks and weathered
soul shouter vocals are passionately sung across tightly arranged songs. Superb.
