Stunning guitarist and singer/songwriter Aynsley Lister appears in the Cellar Bar at Farnham Maltings on Thursday 27th June.  Aynsley is a favourite at The Maltings playing a sensational set of blues-rock classics and original material. With in excess of 100,000 albums sold, lashings of critical acclaim and years of high profile touring, Lister’s résumé speaks for itself and firmly secures his position as a leading light in the resurgence of British blues-infused music.

You’re in for a treat on Wednesday 12th June when superb guitarist, harmonica player and singer Giles Hedley appears in the Cellar Bar at South Hill Park, Bracknell.

Giles Hedley has been singing and playing roots blues across UK and Europe since the sixties and is instantly recognisable by his Wolf-style voice and trademark simultaneous nose-and-mouth harmonica playing.

Bo’ Diddley protege Hamilton Loomis brings his soulful, tight, and energetic act to the Cellar Bar at Farnham Maltings on Thursday 16th May.

You don’t get mentored by the likes of the legendary Bo Diddley if you don’t possess something very special. Diddley’s words “Innovate, don’t imitate” serve as Loomis’ mantra, and with music legends such as Gatemouth Brown, Joe “Guitar” Hughes, and Albert Collins also schooling Hamilton in the finer points of music along the way, one can easily understand the worldwide rave reviews Hamilton has been receiving.

Hamilton’s ‘funkified Texas music’ has gained him international rave reviews throughout Australia, Benelux, Europe, the US and earned him multiple “Best Artist” awards in England & Wales.   Add in a Grammy Award nomination for Hamilton early in his music career, and you can see why Loomis rightly deserves his place as one of the leaders of younger artists at the forefront of bringing Contemporary Blues into the 21^st century.

Nicky Moore & Danny Kyle are playing in the Cellar Bar at South Hill Park Arts Centre in Bracknell on Wednesday 1st May.

Nicky Moore retired from  the ‘Blues Corporation’ last October but is continuing to write songs, work as a vocal coach and perform with Danny Kyle.  Nicky has an amazing vocal range of 3.5 octaves, a wicked sense of humour and great stage presence.  He’s also a superb songwriter.  Danny Kyle is quite simply one of the most talented acoustic guitarists around and also has a fine voice.   Don’t know Nicky Moore?  Click here to hear a superb version of one of Nicky’s original songs ‘Let Sleeping Dogs Lie’.
