Buddy Whittington appearing at Farnham Maltings Thurs 11th April 2013

Superb blues guitarist, singer and songwriter Buddy Whittington  will be appearing in the Cellar Bar at Farnham Maltings on Thursday 11th April 2013.
Buddy Whittington was the guitarist with John Mayall  for many years.  Buddy is described by John Mayall as ‘perhaps the best Bluesbreaker of them all’ and there is some superb footage on YouTube of Buddy sharing the stage with Eric Clapton at John Mayall’s 70th Birthday concert. We are letting you know about this particular gig at the Maltings earlier than usual because last time we had to turn people away.  So please reserve tickets early!

Ace boogie woogie player Ben Waters appears at Farnham Maltings on Thursday 8th November.   Ben has played at The Maltings since his teens.  Since then he has travelled the world and played venues of all sizes from intimate venues like The Maltings to the Royal Albert Hall and the Royal Festival Hall.  Ben Waters is known for his excellent musicianship and for his on-stage charisma.   In recent times Ben has played alongside Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, The Rolling Stones,  Shakin’ Stevens, Procul Harum, Ray Davies and Jools Holland, and he’s played at Mick Jagger’s birthday party and Jools Hollands’ wedding!    Make sure you catch him at The Maltings on Thursday 8th November.   Doors open at 8.15 pm for a 9.00 pm start and tickets cost £12.   To reserve tickets and pay on the night, please click here.
