I just got sent the second issue of Classic Rock’s new Blues Magazine (a complementary copy, which was very nice!). This is a gorgeous mag, well presented with lots of good content, including features on Boogaloo favourites Ian Siegal (appearing at South Hill Park on Wednesday 17th Oct 2012), Alex McKown (Alvaston Hall March 2013, King King (Heathlands Dec 2012), Little Devils (Lakeside Jan 2013), plus of course features on greats such as Robert Kray, BB King and more. It’s a beautifully presented magazine and a good read. It’s also being sold on the high street, so you never know it may help invigorate the UK blues scene.

The David Raphael Band at Farnham Maltings Thurs 13 Sept 2012
We’re back at Farnham Maltings after the summer break with the highly entertaining David Raphael Band. Blues harp player David Raphael fronts the band, with some great guitar playing from Nick Hyde and a super-tight rhythm section.
We’d like lots of people to come and support the gig so we’re pleased to offer an additional discount off the ticket price and a price of the band’s CD. All you have to do is to print off the leaflet attached. See you next Thursday! Click here to download.

Harry Skinner & Dave Saunders at South Hill Park – Rescheduled
Please note that we’ve decided to cancel this Wednesday’s gig at South Hill Park with Harry Skinner & Dave Saunders because response has been very limited.
We think lots of people are away, and those who aren’t away are off to various outdoor festivals! (We refuse to believe you prefer to stay in and watch TV!) We plan to rebook Harry and Dave for a slot at South Hill Park in the New Year.
Meantime, please note that they will be appearing at the Boogaloo Blues Weekend in Bournemouth – click here for details.
