Damo and the Dominos celebrate the musical legacy of a blues rock legend with an evening of classic Clapton. The band performs Clapton songs from his early days with Cream, as well as well-known classics such as Cocaine, I Shot The Sheriff, Crossroads, Layla, etc.
Damo and the Dominos are not trying to mimic Clapton but are inspired by his live performances and electrifying solos.
Led by frontman Damian “Damo” Ford, this exceptional group of musicians celebrates the vast musical catalogue of one of the greatest guitarists of all time.
Damo, an accomplished guitarist in his own right, has a deep love for Clapton’s guitar playing and musical legacy, and has studied Clapton’s playing since the age of fourteen and Clapton remains one of his biggest inspirations.
The band says “We can’t wait to play for Boogaloo, and share their love of the amazing music of one of the world’s greatest guitarists and singers.’
Doors open at 8.15 pm for an 8.45 pm start. The gig finishes c. 10.30 pm.
