The Spikedrivers are a Boogaloo Festival favourite – super-talented, and always a delight to work with! The Spikedrivers’ music has been described as ‘haunting’, ‘gutsy’, ‘tribal’, and even psychedelic. Blues in Britain says, “From the first note, Spikedrivers demand to be listened to. Ben Tyzack, Constance Redgrave, and Maurice McElroy are three very talented musicians willing to experiment and evoke unusual contemporary sounds while they continue to keep diggin’ the blues by the roots.”
The Spikedrivers have now added Roger Nunn to the lineup on percussion and vocals. Roger has played with The Fran McGillivray Band, The Whiskey Poets, and Anna Howie and brings his contagious rhythms and energy to the band.
“This band should grace the stage at every festival “ Blues Matters! – UK
